Located 60 km north of Morondava, Kirindy is a dry deciduous forest known for its rich biodiversity and unique nocturnal wildlife. It’s one of the best places to spot the elusive fossa, Madagascar’s top predator, as well as several lemur species, giant jumping rats, and chameleons. Visitors can take guided day and night walks along forest trails. The park is accessible by 4x4 and best visited between April and November.
