Giants of Time, Guardians of the Land

Located about 20 km northeast of Morondava, this iconic avenue features towering Grandidier baobabs, some over 800 years old, rising from the dusty savannah. The site is especially magical at sunset, when the trees cast long shadows and the sky glows orange. Located 60 km north of Morondava, Kirindy is a dry deciduous forest known for its rich biodiversity and unique nocturnal wildlife.
