Located about 10 km southeast of Diego Suarez, this dry forest
reserve offers a moderate hike to a summit with panoramic views of Diego Bay,
the Mozambique Channel, and surrounding hills. Along the trail, visitors may
encounter baobabs, orchids, and sportive lemurs. The hike takes 2–3 hours round
trip and is best done in the morning or late afternoon. Good walking shoes, a
hat, and water are essential. Activities include hiking, botany, wildlife
spotting, and photography from the viewpoint.
